Fire caused hundreds of thousands of dollars damage to a west Ottawa restaurant Saturday night.
Firefighters said they responded to reports of smoke at Stonehaven Plaza on Eagleson Road at 8:41 p.m. Saturday.
They said a fire at the Mojo Fresh Mediterranean restaurant was the cause, as smoke was seen at the back of the strip mall when they arrived.
Damage was limited to that restaurant, with $100,000 damage to the building and $150,000 damage to its contents.
Nobody was inside the mall at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There are two Mojo Fresh locations in Ottawa, the other on Main Street in Stittsville.
