Gatineau police are investigating human remains found on a riverbank Sunday.
The remains were found around 4:40 p.m. Sunday on the banks of the Ottawa River near 438 rue St-Louis when a witness called police.
They said they weren't able to identify the body and have to wait for the analysis at the Laboratoire de sciences judiciaires et de médecine légale in Montreal to finish before anything can be confirmed.
