Ottawa police have identified 23-year-old Leanne Lawson as the woman whose body was found in a downtown parking lot Friday morning.
They also said their major crimes unit has declared it a homicide investigation, the city's seventh of the year.
Lawson's body was found around 2:50 a.m. Friday morning in a parking lot on King Edward Avenue near George Street.
