A Gatineau bus driver who was caught filling out paperwork while driving an STO bus will not be fired.
A passenger caught the distracted bus driver on camera as he drove along Tache Boulevard in Gatineau last month. He can be seen clearly filling out forms. At one point, the driver uses his knees to help steer the bus.
The video, which was posted on YouTube, has received nearly 130,000 views.
Transit officials in Gatineau say the bus driver has been disciplined, but they wouldn't specify what that disciplinary measure was. Officials add that the driver has a good record.
