When it comes to the raw goodness of sushi, our viewers have voted Sushi Sun in Manotick as making Ottawa's very best.

The restaurant in the core of Manotick's downtown pays homage to the community by naming its signature dish the Manotick Spicy Roll.

"Inside there's fresh tuna, cucumber, avocado and fresh fish roll," said head chef Shin Duk Han. "It's the best one."

Hello Sushi Man in Orleans came in second with 20 per cent of the vote.

  • C'est Japon a Suisha (7%)
  • Hello Sushi Man (20%)
  • Hockey Sushi  (11%)
  • Sushi Kan (18%)
  • Sushi Sun (44 %)

We've already declared the Broadway Bar and Grill as having Ottawa's Best Breakfast, but now we're looking for Ottawa's Best Brunch.

The nomination and voting process this week is a bit different because of Ontario's long weekend.

Nominations will be open through Monday instead of closing Sunday at midnight. As such, the top nominees will be announced Tuesday, when voting will open until Thursday at 1 p.m.

Ottawa's Best Brunch will be announced on Friday's News at Six.
