Ontario Provincial Police have released a sketch of a male suspect believed to be linked to two sexual assault cases involving children at local hotels.

Police issued a public safety warning last week after a young girl reported being sexually assaulted in a hotel elevator at the Hampton Inn in Napanee on April 16.

Police are also investigating the sexual assault of another young girl who was approached in a hallway at the Holiday Inn in Quinte West in December 2009.

In both cases, police say the kids were in the company of other children at the time.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about six feet tall and clean-shaven. He is described as being thin with a noticeable belly.

Police ask anyone with information about the case to contact Napanee OPP at 613-354-3369, Quinte West OPP at 613-392-3561 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
