Ottawa police have re-launched the Teddy Bear program, designed to provide comfort for children who have been involved in a traumatic event.
The program equips officers with plush teddy bears which they use as a tool to comfort distressed children who have been involved in emergency situations.
The reincarnation of the program was made possible by donations of staff tips from several downtown Bridgehead coffee shops.
