A woman's body was found Saturday evening deep in the woods of Calabogie, near Arnprior, raising questions about if it is a link to the disappearance of an elderly couple Wednesday.

Ontario Provincial Police were there late into the night investigating the scene, which is so remote that cell-phone service is not available.

There was no word about the age of the woman and if foul play is involved.

Questions about missing couple

Witnesses reported seeing a grey sedan at the scene, a vehicle similar to one driven by a couple now reported missing.

Jim Dunne, 86, and Lily Blondin, 90, were last seen at their doctor's office near the Westgate Mall in Ottawa. They left after they were told their appointment was on Monday.

They were driving a 2008 Grey Mazda 3 with the licence plate number BDXE 536.

When contacted by CTV, Ottawa police -- who were involved in the early stages of the investigation -- referred all questions about that case to Ontario Provincial Police.
