The Duke of Edinburgh presents the World Ship Trust Certificate to representatives of HMCS Haida, last of 27 Tribal Class destroyers built for the Royal Canadian Navy, the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy between 1937 and 1945. The royal couple lunch at CFB Halifax with Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Canadian Forces members before they review 22 naval ships gathered for an offshore exercise. The Queen conducts a walkabout on the Maritime Museum wharf.

Ottawa

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh tour the newly refurbished Canadian Museum of Nature. They visit the National Arts Centre where the Queen unveils a bronze statue of jazz-piano great Oscar Peterson. She has an audience with Prime Minister Stephen Harper at Rideau Hall before attending a garden party.

Thursday, July 1 - Canada Day
Ottawa

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh join in Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill at noon. Performers include the Bare Naked Ladies; Quebec pop star Isabelle Boulay; bagpipers The Campbell Brothers, and Newfoundland Indie rock band Hey Rosetta!. The Queen gives an address and conducts a walkabout.

Officials announce The Queen Elizabeth II Silverwings Youth Scholarship. The Queen signs a letter addressed to the youth of Manitoba and places it in a time capsule to be opened in 2060. She attends a luncheon and statue unveiling at Government House. The royal couple visits the site of the Canadian Human Rights Museum and later attends the Canadian Concert For Human Rights at The Forks, where she will deliver an address.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attend morning worship at the 200-year-old Cathedral Church of St. James. They attend the running of The Queen's Plate at Woodbine Racetrack.

The royal couple tour the Research in Motion (RIM) facility, where the BlackBerry is made.

Toronto

The royal couple tour Pinewood Studios, a film and television production complex, where they watch a scene being shot in 3-D and view footage of Elizabeth's 1953 coronation shot in 3-D. Philip presents The Duke of Edinburgh Awards. They attend a dinner hosted by the prime minister and wife Laureen Harper. The Queen delivers an address.

Tuesday, July 6
Toronto

The Queen attends a presentation ceremony for the Ontario Medals for Good Citizenship and unveils a plaque outside the legislature. The royal couple attends a farewell ceremony and the Queen conducts her final walkabout.

The royal couple depart Canada at 12:55 p.m. Eastern time.
