Two men are in custody after Bradley Van Diepen, 28, died following a violent assault in a Tweed Park Saturday.
Ontario Provincial Police Const. Janice Sawbridge told CTV Ottawa that Van Diepen was found beaten in Trudeau Park around 6:30 a.m. He was transported to Kingston General Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries overnight.
The man was visiting the park from Mississauga over the Victoria Day weekend. The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating the death as a homicide.
