About 100 infertile couples are expected to rally outside the Ontario legislature tomorrow to demand provincial funding of in vitro fertilization.

A group representing more than 1,100 hundred Ontario couples who are struggling to have families say the Liberal government promised it during the last election.

Conceivable Dreams co-founder Joanne Horibe says two government studies have recommended coverage and it's time for Ontario to act.

Horibe says I-V-F is among the safest and most effective treatments for infertility, but a single cycle can cost up to 10-thousand dollars.

She says the studies show I-V-F funding would reduce multiple pre-term births and save taxpayers' money in the long run.

Health Minister Deb Matthews says the government promised only to look at I-V-F which she says it's now doing.
