Ottawa police are urging anyone who witnessed a hit-and-run that killed a motorcyclist in the city's west end to come forward.

Police are currently scouring video footage of traffic in the area to piece together their investigation.

The collision killed 44-year-old David Ray, of Carleton Place, who was riding his motorcycle in the area of Richmond Road and High Street at about 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 27.

Police are still looking for the driver of a silver or grey four-door car, similar in shape to a Honda Civic.

The vehicle was last seen going north on High Street from Richmond Road. Police say there may be damage to the passenger side of the car.
