An Ottawa father and son were hit by a car Thursday afternoon while riding their bicycles in the city's west end, leaving each with broken bones.
The collision occured on Prince of Wales Drive at about 2:30 p.m.
The father, in his 30s, is in serious condition with a badly broken leg and a head injury. He was not wearing a helmet, according to paramedics.
His 10-year-old son was wearing a helmet, though, suffering a broken arm.
