A 26-year-old Ottawa man is facing first-degree murder charges in connection with a fatal shooting outside a strip club in Gatineau last week.

Gatineau police arrested three men in connection with the shooting on Monday. Mohamed Farouk Ahmed made his first court appearance on the murder charge on Tuesday.

Mustafa Ahmed, 21, and Adil Hassan Omer, 25, are charged with drug-trafficking offences.

Daniel Valladeres, 19, was shot and killed outside Cabaret le Pink strip club on June 25. A 16-year-old boy was also seriously injured in the shooting.

Police located a car splattered with blood and riddled with bullets down the road from the strip club following the shooting.

Police say Valladeres was associated with an Ottawa street gang.
