We want to know what restaurants you go to for some inexpensive grub.

Buffet des Continents in Gatineau is a great deal! @ adults and 1 child can have lunch for less than 20 dollars!!! Awesome deal, well worth the drive across the river.

Can't anyone read - under 3 $ i guess it's a difficult one to understand

Super Sweet Mart on Rochester (at Willow) has great vegetarian samosas for 50 cents each.
Kevin in Ottawa
We can. Can you? "We found some bargains for less than $3. Where do you go for inexpensive food?" is not the same as "Where do you go for food less than three dollars?"

Subway. 5.00$ + tax for footlong meatball, coldcut, and some other subs, everything you ask for in it. Honestly this is probably the most fresh food you can get for the money.

HEY SEBASTIEN WE ALL CAN READ
WHERE DO YOU GO TO EAT.

also a subway comment, I like to buy a breakfast sandwich there as a special treat, egg and cheese on whole wheat, for only 2.61 including tax. not only do you get a credit for it on the frequent buyer card, 2 pts, which adds up quickly, and then when you get 50 you get a free sub of your choice. good value. I also feel good about all the veggies they load on it for me.

Cafe Roma in bells corner you can get a real good sandwich for $4,50 inc tax.

Dirienzo's anyone??
I thought you guys were from Ottawa! Best sandwiches in town for like $3.50...and only go to the one off Preston- the other one just ain't the same

I agree with Sebastien, every is suggesting subway, and this place and that place for prices that are average. Again, I think the notion here was to find a place where the deal is out of this world...example...Dirienzo's off of Preston. Sandwich's are HUGE and cost 3 bucks! Get the idea now people??
